The Corner Pocket features a full sized stage with a 6 channel PA System, a 12-Channel passive sound board located at the back wall completely wired with a 12/4 Snake, 4 DI boxes, 800 Watts of sound, 3 mics, and 1 acoustic guitar with pickup, and even stage lights. Unfortunately, there is no drum kit due to the nature of the entertainment the club specializes in.
Many times, an impromptu jam session has been known to break out at the club when the right ingredients are there - guitars, players, and courage! Several attempts have been made in the past to have a steady "Jam Night" but it has never materialized. So, they just keep building on to their sound system in the hopes that one will happen on its own. After all, the best jams are the ones that just happen...
So let's put out a call to all you musicians out there who are looking for a good place with a great sound system to jam out to. It doesn't matter what kind of music you're into, all music is welcome at a jam. And who knows - maybe they will need a drum kit sooner than they thought!!
